An attack on the policy of M. Grunbach, Member of the French Parliament, was made by the Alsatian newspaper, "Loevre" of Colmar.

Referring to some difference of opinion on Alsatian questions, the paper declares that Grunbach was thrice wrong. "In Catholic Alsace Jews will have no alternative but silence. They should be happy not to be persecuted," the paper writes.
