A resolution favoring the outcome of the Non-Zionist Conference held in New York was adopted at the last meeting of the Zionist Regional Conference, Number 5, comprising Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio.

In addition, two resolutions of protest were adopted, one against the persecution of Zionism and Hebrew culture by Soviet Russia, and one requesting the safeguarding of Jewish rights by the Mandatory Powers in an effort to stamp out occurrences similar to the Wailing Wall incident. The delegates of the region, which has raised $55,000 for the United Palestine Appeal during the past year elected Dr. M.B. Lichtenstein, Pittsburgh, president.
