Dr. Hyman I. Goldstein received a vote of 30,000 in his election to the New Jersey State Assembly from Camdein. Dr. Goldstein received 15,000 votes within Camden and approximately 15,000 in Camden County. It was said to be the largest number of votes ever cast for a candidate of the Jewish faith in Camden.
