An invitation to Jewish ex-soldiers to participate in the unveiling of a memorial to the Unknown Soldier at Plessis was extended by Mayor Robinson of that city.

The memorial bears the inscriptions of 42 fallen Jewish soldiers, former students of the Horticole Hirsch school, who volunteered for service.
