Evidence showing that the Communist group in Palestine sought to give moral and financial aid to the Druze rebellion in Syria against the French mandatory government several years ago was presented during the trial of the Communist. Teichman. One document presented showed that at one time the Communist group sent to the Druze rebellion leaders the amount of £65.

A building to house the Hebrew school of Temple Emanu-El, Paterson, N. J., will be erected through the gift of Jacob Fabian, father of the late Abraham M. Fabian, as a memorial to his son who died in June, 1927.

The memorial will be known as the “Abraham M. Fabian Hebrew School Memorial.”

When ground was broken for the Temple last Sunday, earth was turned for the new school as well. The school will adjoin the Temple and its design and architecture will conform with that of the Temple.

Mr. Fabian, in making the announcement of his gift in memory of his son, said he would erect and completely furnish the school in addition to contributing to the temple.

When completed the school will be free to Jewish youth of the city. It will contain nine schoolrooms, an auditorium, a kitchen, lodge rooms, officers’ quarters and a rabbi’s study room. It is expected that both buildings will be completed and furnished for use by the congregation for the holidays next year.
