Col. Herbert H. Lehman, Lieutenant-Governor-elect, will sit in on the cabinet of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the Democratic Governor-elect announced here.

In announcing this departure from previous precedent, the Governor-elect stated: “I think it is good business practice, for it will give us the benefit of Col. Lehman’s great ability in financial and budget matters.”

Continuing Governor Smith’s policy of a cabinet made up of heads of fourteen state departments, Mr. Roosevelt, as he announced, will add a fifteenth member in the person of the Lieutenant Governor.
