Edmund Scheuer, founder of the Toronto Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, was honored on Sunday when the new home of the Federation was dedicated as the “Scheuer House.”
Rabbi Ferdinand Isserman presided and the speakers included Chief Justice Sir William Mulock. Mr. Scheuer is 81 years old.
