All proposals introduced by the Jewish deputies for the increase of state subventions for Jewish cultural purposes were rejected by the budget commission of the Polish Sejm.
The deputies asked for items amounting to 1,500,000 Zlotys. One hundred and twenty thousand Zlotys were voted for Jewish religious purposes.
