“Emes” Says Jewish Chauvinim Is Weapon of Jewish Nepmen (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The fight against anti-Semitism in Soviet Russia must be accompanied by a simultaneous intensive campaign against Jewish nationalism, urges the “Emes,” Yiddish Communist daily.

Jewish chauvinism is the weapon of the Jewish nepmen, who are the enemies of the Soviet regime and the same class enemy as the anti-Semite. They must be crushed, the paper says.

The executive committee of the Communist party in Kiev excluded from its membership the Communist worker, Dowgon, for anti-Semitic agitation. A Russian worker, Resnykow, who was found guilty of anti-Semitic agitation in the factory “Red Progress” at Melitopol, was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
