The young man named Kollenberg who slew General Jacob Alexander Slaschoff, former Czaristic General who served in the Deniken and Wrangel White armies and later returned to Soviet Russia, is Jewish.

The correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency here is in a position to verify the reports to this effect circulated in the press abroad. It is declared here that Kollenberg, who killed General Slaschoff a week ago, was motivated by a feeling of revenge for the execution of his brother by General Slaschoff’s troop in a Ukrainian town when the General fought with the White army. Kollenberg is 24 years of age.
