A fund of 300,000 roubles for conducting courses of instruction to train unemployed Jewish workers was made by the Council of People’s Commissars.
The courses are to be opened in the western parts of Russia where the largest number of Jewish unemployed are to be found.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
