Louis B. Mayer, vice-president and general manager on Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture producers has been offered the Ambassadorship to Turkey by President-elect Hoover but has not made any decision in the matter, it was announced from his offices in Los Angeles yesterday, states a despatch from there to the New York “Herald-Tribune.”
