Hungary to Honor Jewish Girl, “miss Europe”

Royal honors will be accorded to Miss Boske (Elizabeth) Simon, the Hungarian Jewish girl who was choosen “Miss Europe” upon her arrival here prior to her departure for the United States to take part in the international beauty contest at Galveston. Texas, where “Miss Universe” will be chosen.

The Hungarian Legation here has made extensive preparations for receiving her on Thursday. A coach drawn by six pairs of horses decorated with flowers and flags will await her arrival at the depot, from where she will be taken to the Legation.

Miss Simon will arrive in the United States in the middle of May.
