A hunger strike was declared today by a Jewish prisoner, Steinberg, against corporal punishment inflicted upon him by the authorities of the Jaffa jail.
Other inmates have launched a complaint against the cruel treatment they are subjected to, declaring that they are beaten for petty offences.
