An honorary degree was awarded Dr. Abraham Flexner of New York by the University of Berlin.
The honor, which is highly esteemed because it is rarely conferred, was given Dr. Flexner for having secured a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation aiding the medical profession in Germany.
