Unearth 3000 Year Old Houses in Palestine

A group of houses dating back to the Canaanitic period were unearthed at Tel Nasbeth during the excavations conducted under the leadership of Prof. Wm. F. Beate of the Pacific School of Religion.

A number of houses believed to be the remains of a Cananite city were unearthed also a wall and traces of an old tower. In the houses were found a wine-press, and a cistern held pottery of several periods. The period to which the houses are said to belong is between 1100 and 1200 before the Christian era.
