A Federation of Jews who fought in the Great War and for the Independence of Poland has just been formed here, the Polish Telegraphic Agency reports.
A number of speakers addressed the meeting, urging the need of creating such a Federation, consisting of all Jews who fought in the war and for Polish liberation, and all Jewish reservists in order to aid the State in its constructive work and to promote Polish-Jewish friendship, and to spread among the Jews the idea of physical culture and of military preparedness. The Federation will also have charge of the Jewish war graves and the provision of financial assistance for the Jewish ex-soldiers. Telegrams of loyal greetings were sent by the meeting to the President of the Republic and to Marshal Pilsudski.
