The Austrian Republic is today facing a governmental crisis following the resignation of Monsignor Seipel, chancellor.

It was declared on authoritative information that the cabinet fell because of the oppositional campaign against the Chancellor’s religious policy, which largely affected the educational system. The crisis will not soon be solved in view of the differences which divide even the majority parties.
