Ort Sends Further Tool Supply to Russia

Twenty thousand dollars worth of machinery were shipped via Murmansk, North Sea and Odessa by the Relatives Aid Department of the Ort for relatives of American Jews in Odessa, ###. Minsk, Bobruisk, Charkow, Tidis, Murmansk, Moscow, Leningrad. Vitebsk, Cherson, Pesochnoe, Kertch, Volodesk, Poltava. The shipment consisted of sewing machines, knitting machines, cloth, fur and clothing machines, barber supplies, typewriters.

The next two shipments valued at larger amounts will be made by the Relatives Aid Department of the Ort on April 10th and 25th.

As a result of a special agreement entered into between the Ort and the Soviet Government these machines will be permitted to enter Russia free of duty.
