That the Berlin report of the anti-Jewish pogrom perpetrated by armed Fascisti on the Jewish population of the township Givei, near Kovno, was correct, is confirmed in the official announcement that three officials, including the local police chief, were arrested. The Lithuanian press was prohibited from disclosing the details of the pogrom.
