Jacob Goldschmidt, the well known German Jewish banker, is the seventh richest man in Germany, according to figures made public here.
Ex-Kaiser Wilhelin is the first richest man in the country, his possessions being estimated at 25,000,000 pounds, Mr. Goldschmidt’s wealth amounts to 2,000,000 pounds.
These figures are of special interest in view of the frequent attacks in the anti-Semitic press which asserts that Goldschmidt is the wealthiest “Jew German” who allegedly controls the financial fate of Germany.
