Police Prevent Arab Demonstraions in Jaffa

The street demostrations announced by Arab agitators to be held in Jaffa on Saturday, June 8, were prevented by the precautionary measures taken by the police.

Strong police detachments patrolled the streets. The day passed without incident. The demonstrations, in conncetion with the Moslem New Year, were planned to protest against the sale of land to Jews.
