Einstein’s Views on War Disagree with Censor’s

Download PDF for this date

The views on war held by Prof. Albert Einstein are apparently not in agreement with the views of the Czechoslovakian censorship.

The pacifist organ “Wahrheit,” published here in German, devoted an issue to a symposium of opinions by prominent personalities on the question of their attitude should war break out again. Einstein’s reply, as well as those of others, did not pass the censor. Blank spaces indicated the expurgated replies.
