Special prayers, accompanied by the sounding of the shofar, were held today at the Western Wall of the Temple, commonly known as the Wailing Wall by 2000 pupils of the orthodox Talmud Torahs and Yeshivas, religious educational institutions of Jerusalem.
The prayers were ordered by the leaders in view of the grave financial situation of the institutions.
