The new $20,000 synagogue and community center was dedicated here.
Rabbi Max Kadushin of the Humboldt Boulevard Temple, Chicago; Philip L. Seman, general director of the Jewish People’s Institute of Chicago, and H. L. Meites, editor of the “Chicago Chronicle,” were the principal speakers. George W. Simon, western manager of the Jewish Agricultural Society, was chairman.
The dedication exercises were conducted under the auspices of the Jewish Agricultural Society, which has shown a deep interest in and guided the South Haven Jewish community.
