The leading Jewish bodies of Palestine, the Zionist Executive, the National Council of Palestine, the Zionist Executive, the National Council of Palestine Jews and the Chief Rabbinate, at a joint meeting held Friday, found no comfort in the reply received by them from the Zionist Executive, now at Zurich, in regard to the alarming Wailing Wall situation.

The meeting decided that the cabled message of the Zionist Executive in reply to the Palestinians’ complaint “does not correspond to the situation.” They decided to send a direct cable of protest to the British Colonial Office appealing against the decision of the British Crown Law officers, upon whose advice the Palestine government permitted the Moslems to continue their building operations at the Wall, to which the Jews of Palestine are voicing their strenuous objection.
