Advices received here from the Vaad Ha’ir, the Jewish Community Board of Jerusalem, state that at the time of despatch Arab attacks on the Jerusalem Jewish quarters Machneh Yehudah and Shaarei Chessed were in progress.

The number of Jewish dead ranges between 120 and 150, according to the advice of the Vaad Ha’ir.

In Tel Aviv, the fights were continued Monday morning. British troops arrived but the Jewish population complained that their action was weak and that they have ordered the Jewish self-defense corps of the city to abstain from action.

At 7 p. m. a member of the Jerusalem Vaad Ha’ir telephoned here saying that the Arab attacks on Jerusalem come continuously from different positions.

It was charged in the reports that the government’s protecive action was weak and that the officials are obstructing the work of the Jewish self-defense (Continued on Page 8)

Five Jews were killed today in Tel Aviv.
