Col. Joseph Sameuls. president of the Outlet Company, Providence. R. I., has presented $300,000 to the Rhode Island Hospital for the construction and endowment of a children’s dental clinic, to be conducted primarily for the poor but to be dedicated in a general sense to the oral health of all Rhode Island’s youth. Announcement of the gift was made by United States Senator Jesse H. Metcalf, president of the hospital’s board of trustees.
Plans have been completed for the erection of a new temple in Dorchester, Mass., for the Temple Hadrath Israel. The building will be of brick and cast stone, one story and basement.
