Nervousness was revived among the Jews of the Old City today when Moslems began leaving their homes. A number of Jews stated to the Zionist authorities that this is a sign of trouble.

The military staged a parade this afternoon at 4:30, the British soldiers wearing steel helmets and carrying fixed bayonets. They marched through the principal streets of Jerusalem. It was felt that the parade was staged in an attempt to allay any signs of panic.
