Weizmann Policy Failed, Revisionists Charge; Demand Resignation

That the policy of Dr. Chaim Weizmann and his Executive in the Zionist movement has been “clearly demonstrated a complete failure,” is asserted in a statement issued by the Executive Committee of the World Union of Zionist Revisionists. The resignation of Dr. Weizmann and his committee is demanded in the statement, which declares the demands formulated by the Zionist General Council are “inadequate.”

The Revisionist Union further states that it has abstained from demanding Weizmann’s resignation because it was anxious to preserve Zionist unity but all proposals of the Revisionists for united action have been turned down on the ground that the Revisionists had declined to be represented on the Jew- (Continued on Page 8)

“Under such conditions it is the duty of the Union of Zionist Revisionists to warn the Jewish public that a most threatening situation has arisen, undermining even the hope cherished by Jewry throughout the world that the terrible lesson of the Palestine out-break might at least serve as a turning point towards a better political future. Demands which fall short of our actual needs and an Executive obviously incapable of any political energy can only lead to further perhaps irremediable failures,” the Revisionists declare.
