New York Leads in Emergency Fund

New York State leads in contributions to the Palestine Emergency Fund, with a total of $711,317, according to the announcement by David A. Brown, chairman. Of this New York City has given $600,432. The rest is from 123 communities outside the city.

Philadelphia ranks second with a contribution of $89,494, and Chicago is third with $73,705. Other communities that have given large sums are Boston. $51,224; Baltimore, $40,725; Detroit, $40,665; Newark, $27,850; Cincinnati, $17,067; Los Angeles. S15,896, and Paterson, $12,211. The total fund is now $1,757,451.
