Premier Ramsay MacDonald in a statement to the “Jewish Daily Bulletin” correspondent last night indicated he does not expect to make any comment regarding the Palestine situation until he receives the Jewish Agency deputation in New York on Friday, Oct. 11 at which time the Premier declared he will give a statement regarding the situation.

At a conference Premier MacDonald granted to press correspondents at the British Embassy last night no reference was made to Palestine, the Premier confining himself in his formal statement to the general purposes of his visit to America, primarily in the interests of better understanding and peace between America and Great Britain. Thus far there has been no indication whether the subject of the American Government’s concern regarding the situation in Palestine will be touched upon in conversations about to take place between President Hoover and Premier MacDonald.
