Communists Declare Hunger Strike

Demanding the release of Communists held in prison without trial for the past month and their treatment as political prisoners. twenty held in Haifa and Acre on the charge of belonging to an illegal or ganization, declared a hunger strike. The action of the prisoners was in sympathy with those held in Jerusalem who have been on a hunger strike for the past few days.
