Britain Refuses to Submit to Arbitration French Claims on Dead Sea Grant

The British Government today informed the French ambassador that it is unable to accept the suggestion that the Dead Sea concessions dispute be submitted to arbitration. To the further communication of the French ambassador on the question, a reply is still under consideration, stated Arthur Henderson, British foreign secretary, in answer to the question of Howard Bury, M. P., whether the matter has been referred to the International Arbitration Commission at The Hague.
