The new land commissary at Yakovlev, who was appointed yesterday, is a Jew, Jacoly Epstein, 33. He was formerly the editor of the peasant papers, “Bednota” and “Krestianskaya Gazette.” Lately he had been acting commissary of labor and peasant inspection. Epstein is the author of three works on agrarian problems.
