Solemn assurances that the Hungarian government is equivocally determined to prevent disturbances in the Hungarian universities were given today by the Hungarian Chancellor. Bethlen, to the Budapest Jewish community.

This promise was made by Count Bethlen in a letter to the Budapest Jewish Kehillah, expressing thanks for the understanding reception accorded to his speech in Parliament on the occasion of the interpellation by the Socialist Deputy Peyer.
