Samuel E. Kohn was named chairman of the board for the local Community Chest at the annual meeting yesterday. Kohn was president of the city-wide non-sectarian organization this past year and last month directed one of the most successful campaigns ever held by the Chest in Denver. Two other members of Denver Jewry have important posts for the coming year. They are Mrs. Murray C. Shandal, a director elected by the general council for three years; and Isadore Samuels, one of four representatives appointed by the Chamber of Commerce as director for one year.
