In connection with the fight that the ultra-orthodox “Agudah Israel” has been conducting for a long time to evict the Jewish sport club “Bar-Cochba” from the building owned by the Kehillah of the Warsaw suburb, Praha, a group of Jews, under the leadership of Mordecai Baal-Teshubah last night raided the office of the club and destroyed everything there including the library.

The damage amounts to about 10,000 zlotys. Baal-Teshubah has been arrested.

The Agudah has been fighting the sport club, because it considers it an anti-religious organization. Last year as a result of Agudah protests, the Kehillah ordered the gymnasium closed on Saturdays, as well as separate gymnastic classes for men and women, but this did not altogether satisfy the Agudah members, who continued their agitation against the sport club.

Today all members of the Bar-Cochba club will assemble for a demonstration in front of the office of the Kehillah.
