While it is understood here that the Palestine Zionist Executive has not received an explanation as to why the invitations for the meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency scheduled for New York February 1 were delayed, it is commonly believed that the principal reason for the postponement is the inability of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, to go to America in time.

Owing to the imminence of the Inquiry Commission’s report, the meeting of the League of Nations Council, where the Wailing Wall question will be considered, and the extraordinary session of the Mandates Commission, Dr. Weizmann’s presence is required in Europe. The original plan to hold the meeting of the Administrative Committee in Europe some time in March is still possible.
