At the conference of the Austrian “He-Chalutz” organization, opened here yesterday, it was brought out that tens of thousands of Jews are preparing themselves for emigration to Palestine and waiting for Chalutzim certificates. For the first time the Christian workers of Austria greeted the Chalutzim through a delegation of the Chamber of Labor as well as the Agrarian Socialists, who promised the support of Austrian working-men to the Chalutzim.
The conference was greeted by representatives of all local Zionist organizations and B’nai Brith lodges. An expert will come here from Palestine to organize the Austrian Chalutzim. A world conference of Chalutzim will be held this year, probably in Vienna.
