“Adeverul,” leading Roumanian liberal daily, reports that the government is much concerned over the activities of Professor Cuza’s anti-Semitic followers in the annexed provinces. It is reported that they are promising the peasants that in case Professor Cuza’s party comes into power, all the Jews will be driven out of those provinces and their property will be confiscated in favor of the peasants. The government is planning to take drastic steps in suppressing this propaganda.
