The Bayazid Jewish school, formerly a Turkish palace, was yesterday destroyed by fire. Prior to the World War, the building was the home of royalty and after the War it was used as an American hospital. In fighting the flames the ablution tank and the fountain in the Bayazid Mosque supplied the water.
