Anti-Semitic students including theological students as well as a number of Czernowitz county officials today attacked Jewish passengers on the district railway line running from Siret to Adancata. They shouted that “for beating Jews and students we are only sentenced to seven days but we do not mind if ## get the maximum sentences.” The leader of the hooligans was a government official named George Betagu.
