The economic situation in Jaffa now is worse than during the War, declares the Jaffa correspondent of the “Sowtashab,” who reports that the merchants are suffering heavy losses owing to the low prices of corn and oranges. He makes no comment on the extent of the damage that has been caused by the Arab boycott, which is responsible for the large Jewish exodus from Jaffa.
