At a meeting of the Vienna Kehillah, it was unanimously decided to join in the demonstrations against the suppression of religious freedom in Soviet Russia. The resolution that was adopted states that Vienna Jewry joins the liberalminded people of other denominations in condemning the persecution of religions in Russia and in all efforts now being made to prevail upon the Russian government to re-establish religious freedom.
