The Hadassah chapter here is completing arrangements for its big event of the year, a $50,000 “give-or-get” luncheon for the Hadassah Medical Organization. It will be held on April 1 at the Stevens Hotel and will be attended by 1,000 persons, many of them outstanding figures in Jewish affairs in this country. Mrs. Robert Szold, national Hadassah president, will be the principal speaker. Miss Pearl Franklin, president of the chapter, is being assisted in the luncheon arrangements by a large committee of active workers.
