The first civic tribute to the memory of the late William Howard Taft in his native city was held Friday at the Reading Road Temple. Rabbi Samuel Wohl talked on “Taft, the Friend of Israel.” Mayor Russell Wilson spoke on “Taft, the Leader,” and Arthur C. Dennison, United States Circuit Court Judge of Grand Rapids, Mich., discussed “Taft the Justice.”
