Congressman Dickstein’s bill to admit outside the quota American citizens’ parents who are 55 years or more has found favor with Senator Gould, chairman of the Senate Immigration Committee. In a letter to Congressman Dickstein, Senator Gould said that the bill was just and that when it came before the Senate Immigration Committee he would give it his prompt attention.

The Dickstein bill, which has been approved by the House Immigration Committee, is still awaiting action in the House. Congressman Dickstein is planning to have Senator Copeland introduce the same bill in the Senate and to bring it before the Senate Immigration Committee.
