Kosher meat has again been made available in Ukrainia while the government trade department, anxious to get more feathers for export, has opened kosher slaughters under the supervision of local rabbis in a number of Ukrainian cities. The slaughterers will get small salaries from the Soviet government and will be classified as qualified laborers.

On the other hand, the Moscow “Emes” criticises the government trade department in Zinovievsk for reopening three kosher slaughter houses.
