Nationally known educators, among them Dr. Mordecai M. Kaplan, of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and Dr. Samson Benderly, director of the Bureau of Jewish Education in New York City; Israel S. Chipkin, educational director of the Jewish Education Association of New York; Dr. Alexander M. Dushkin, director, Board of Jewish Education of Chicago; Ben Rosen, director, Associated Talmud Torahs of Philadelphia; Dr. Emanuel Gamoran, educational director of Synagogue and School Extension, U.A.H.S., Cincinnati; and a group of prominent laymen, including Ludwig Vogelstein, Judge Otto A. Rosalsky, Bernard Semel and Israel Unterberg will be among the speakers at the fifth annual conference of the National Council for Jewish Education for four days—June 21 to June 24, inclusive, to be held in New York City and at the Central Jewish Institute Camps, Port Jervis, N. Y.
